FAQs About Vinyl Tarp Repairs

To patch a vinyl tarp with HH-66, follow these steps:

  1. Cut the patch 2 inches larger than the tear on all sides.  Round the corners to avoid peeling.  Clean both surfaces with HH-66 Thinner.
  2. Brush HH-66 Vinyl Cement onto both surfaces.  Wait until tacky (about two minutes).
  3. Press the patch on firmly.  Apply even pressure throughout to remove air bubbles.  Remove excess adhesive.  Let it bond for one hour.
