This specialized adhesive is among your strongest options when it comes to bonding leather. It creates a flexible and waterproof bond that dries clear.

That’s why Duall-88 has been a leading choice for generations in the manufacture and repair of shoes, orthotics, handbags, and other leather goods. It holds tight, but just don’t expect to see it.

Duall-88 Leather Adhesive is widely used in the footwear and soft orthotics industries, and it also works well for other leathercraft, costuming, and saddlery. Duall-88 also is used to bond wood, glass, tile, and metals.

Compatible Materials:  Leather, Crepe Rubber, EVA Foam, Fiberglass, Glass, Metals, Neoprene, Particle Board, Some Plastics, Tile, Wood

General Instructions

  1.  Clean surfaces with alcohol or compatible solvent.
  2.  Sand any glossy surfaces lightly.
  3.  Apply an even coat to both surfaces to be joined.
  4.  Allow adhesive to set until tacky, typically around two minutes.  Adhesive will remain tacky for around eight to ten minutes.
  5.  Press together while tacky.  Available for use within minutes, as full-strength bond forms quickly.
  6.  Remove any excess adhesive.

Use RH Thinner for preparation and cleanup.

Apply within 18 months of manufacture for best results.
