About our vinyl patches
When you buy a Vinyl Patch Kit, you’ll choose one of the patches below.
The Midweight Patch:
This is a midweight, 14 oz. commercial-grade reinforced vinyl fabric. It has a matte finish and is available in black, royal blue, gray, green, orange, red, white, or yellow. The fabric is treated for outdoor use.
Reinforced vinyl fabrics are typically a polyester fabric coated with flexible vinyl; they’re used in many high-durability applications both indoors and outdoors.
This is a midweight 14 oz. vinyl fabric, but we’re calling it “midweight” to make it easier to tell apart from our heavier 22 oz. vinyl fabric. Patches like this are commonly used to repair inflatables such as bounce houses and to mend midweight tarps.
Our standard size Vinyl Patch Kit includes a 10” x 10” patch.
The Heavyweight Patch:
This is a heavyweight, 22 oz. commercial-grade reinforced vinyl fabric. It has a matte finish and is available in black, royal blue, gray, green, red, or white. The fabric is treated for outdoor use.
Reinforced vinyl fabrics are typically a polyester fabric coated with flexible vinyl; they’re used in many high-durability applications both indoors and outdoors.
Patches like this are commonly used in heavy-duty applications such as cargo control tarps (steel, lumber, dump beds), industrial, and construction. They’re also for mending marine craft, stand up paddle boards, and other watersports equipment, as well as sports covers and mats.
Our standard size Vinyl Patch Kit includes a 10” x 10” patch; our Vinyl Patch Kit XL contains a 30″ x 36″ piece of vinyl.
The Pool Patch:
This is a 20-gauge (or 0.02 inches thick) unreinforced vinyl fabric. It has a high-gloss finish and is available in clear vinyl only.
Patches like this are commonly used to repair vinyl pool and spa liners. Our patch is flexible and waterproof – and since HH-66 works underwater, you won’t even have to drain your pool to make your fix.
Our standard size Vinyl Pool Liner Repair Kit includes a 10” x 10” patch.
